Falcons Finish 12th at Women's Highland Championships

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – On the final day of play, the Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team finished in 12th place with a team score of 1204 strokes (+200) at the Women's Highland Championships, hosted by Augustana College. Augustana claimed first place, while Millikin and Carroll earned second and third place, respectively.

Sophomore Lexi Cour (Rome, Wis.) led the Birds with a final round score of 94 strokes (+22) and a tournament total of 181 (+37) to tie for 44th place overall.

Senior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) followed up with a 101 (+29) in the final round for a tournament total of 197 (+53), finishing in 60th place.

Freshman Lauren Boon (Marshfield, Wis.) posted a round two score of 102 (+30) and a final score of 198 (+54) to finish in 61st place.

Sophomore Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) shot a 99 (+27) for a total score of 200 (+56) to earn 62nd place.

Junior Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) carded a 105 (+33) in the final round for a total score of 212 (+68) to finish in 67th place.

Freshman Annika Lechner (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) rounded out the Falcons with a round-two score of 113 (+41) and a tournament total of 216 (+72) to earn 68th place.

Concordia Wisconsin will travel to Superior, Wis. compete in the Twin Ports Collegiate on Sept. 18 and 19.
