ACHA Hockey completes sweep with shutout of Purdue Northwest

MEQUON, Wis.  The Falcons completed a two-game series sweep of Purdue Northwest on Saturday afternoon as Concordia Wisconsin shutout the Pride 4-0 at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

THE BASICS
-Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 4, Purdue Northwest 0
-Records: Concordia Wisconsin 2-0, Purdue Northwest 1-2

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first period, Trenton Sherman put the Falcons on the board with a goal in the eighth minute of the second frame.
- Cody Faber followed four minutes later with a goal to put CUW up 2-0.
- Jonathon Grodzki scored twice in the third period for the Falcons. The senior scored his first in the fifth minute and his second in the 15th.
- Mack Willy had 19 saves in goal in a shutout performance for the Falcons.
