Samantha Landis is entering her second season as the Head Coach of the Field Hockey program at Concordia Wisconsin. Landis helped guide the Falcons to an impressive inaugural season in 2016.

The Falcons won six games in year one under Landis. Included in those six wins was a victory in the only home game of the season, a 6-0 decision over Lindenwood Belleville. The Falcons home contest featured the second-largest crowd in NCAA Division III history.

In year two, Landis will guide the Falcons in conference play for the first time. CUW joined the Southern Athletic Association and will be a part of the seven-member field hockey league in 2017.

Landis also served as interim head coach of the Falcons Women's Lacrosse team in the spring of 2017, leading CUW to a share of the MWLC Regular Season championship. She serves as an assistant coach with the Women's Lacrosse program currently.

Landis is no stranger to field hockey as she was a two-time All-Commonwealth Conference selection, as well as a Second-Team All-Region selection her senior year. She also served as an assistant coach at her high school, Warrior Run Area.
