2012 Season (Sophomore): Started 40 games...Batted .293 with 36 hits, 22 runs scored, and team-high 29 RBIs...Hit seven doubles...Had nine multi-hit games...Recorded season-long eight-game hitting streak (April 14-24)...Went a combined 6-for-9 with four runs scored, four driven in, and one double in two games against Rockford College (April 17)...Hit a home run and drove in three runs in season-opener versus University of Wisconsin-Stout (February 25)...Was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and 3-RBI in game one against Marantaha Baptist Bible College (March 27).
2011 Season (Freshman): Earned NAC All-Freshman honors...Giesseman started 38 games for CUW, batting .361...Collected 39 hits, 21 RBI, 17 runs scored, and 1 HR...Also led team with 3 triples.
High School: Attended Sevastopol HS in Sturgeon Bay, Wis...Mariah was a 3-year varsity softball player...She was a two-time 1st team all-conference honoree, as well as the Packerland Co-Player of the Year in 2010...Giesseman also earned 3rd team all-state softball honors...She was a member of the Div. III WIAA State Championship team, and won WIAA Regionals 4x...Also lettered in cross country and basketball.
