High School (Pueblo County): Made the First Team Academic All-Conference … Member of the principal’s honor roll … Lettered in track for four years, football for three, and basketball for two … Football team won the conference and made it to state during sophomore season … Junior year basketball team advanced to the state tournament … Won the Toughest and Most Competitive Awards in football senior year … Earned First Team All-Conference for basketball … Voted Top-85 football players during senior year … Ran a 12.5 100-meter and a 25.0 200-meter … Favorite memory was making a clutch tackle on a 4th and 1 rush attempt and hearing the crowd and sidelines cheer.
