High School:  Mark earned four track letters competing for the Concordia Academy Beacons in Roseville, Minnesota...He was part of the first championship team in his school's history...He also won conference and was a sub-sectional qualifier as a junior...High school track coach was Marc Paul.

Personal: Parents are Dan and Sharon...Has one brother, Erik.
