Men’s Cross Country places seventh at Lawrence

APPLETON, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country program recorded a seventh-place finish at Lawrence on Saturday with 185 points. St. Norbert led the pack with 57 points.

Senior Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) was the fastest Falcon on Saturday in 25th place at 27:44.2.

Sophomore Wesley Schiek (Oshkosh, Wis.) finished in 35th place at 27:55.2.

In 52nd place was sophomore Jack Kral (Kohler, Wis.) at 28:27.6.

Sophomore William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) clocked in at 28:54.8 in 67th place

Freshman Zachary Heckman (Sussex, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 29:48.5 in 78th place.

Freshman Quinn Hoopman (Cedar Grove, Wis.) sat in 81st place at 29:54.1

Freshman Derek Ruona (Grafton, Wis.) ran a time of 31:51.5 in 98th place.

Sophomore Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.) forged a time of 32:41.2 in 103rd place.

Freshman Tim Steinke (Brookfield, Wis.) rounded up the CUW performance in 110th place at 35:35.2

The Falcons will compete at Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday.
