Hanick coached at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School for seven years with the last five years as head coach. He won two regional championships and advanced to a sectional final game.

He served on the coaching staff of a club team for seven years winning a state and national championship.

"Coach Hanick will be a great addition to our staff," said coach Crook. "He will primarily work with our outfield and help our players become more efficient baserunners."
