Carson Christen is in his first season at Concordia University Wisconsin as the head coach of the Falcons’ women's triathlon program in 2025. With over 13 years of professional coaching experience, Christen is excited to see the Falcon triathlon program rise up the ranks over the upcoming seasons.
“Wisconsin has a very rich history in the sport of triathlon, and I look forward to helping Concordia University and the NCAA develop the next generation of triathletes who can compete for Olympic medals or discover a hobby they can enjoy for the rest of their life!”
Christen was a collegiate swimmer, obtained a graduate degree in exercise physiology, and owns his own coaching business (Torden Multisport). He has made a career of working with youth and junior, amateur and professional athletes, even having coached a cyclist at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. His coaching experience currently includes working with a Milwaukee based swimming club, a junior triathlon team, and a domestic elite cycling team.
In his spare time, Christen enjoys time on the lake with his wife Katie and Bernese mountain dog, Moose. He has competed as a professional triathlete for a few years and still enjoys taking part in swim, bike, run or triathlon events.
