MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Kinsey Weyer has earned the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced.
Weyer (Stillwater, Minn.) had two outstanding games in goal for the Falcons during a pair of home MWLC victories. The rookie goalkeeper made nine saves and picked up two ground balls in a close 13-12 home win over Northwestern-St. Paul on Friday. She then made 12 saves and had a 70.6 save percentage in a 14-5 victory against Wartburg on Saturday.
