Mequon, Wis. – Triton College edged out Concordia Wisconsin on Thursday night, winning 35-23 in a duel inside the R. John Buuck Field House.

Triton College 2-1, Concordia Wisconsin 0-1

- Triton got off to a fast start by winning the 125-weight class by forfeit and then capturing more momentum when Khalil Jonson won over fall over Matthew Saldana. The Falcons would respond nicely with a run of their own.
- Concordia Wisconsin needed to get on the board and they did just that, when junior Ramiro Vasquez (Yuma, Ariz.) won by forfeit and was followed up by a senior Miguel Angel Betancourt's (El Paso, Texas) major decision win of 17-1.
- The Trojans were able to fend off the Falcons final attempts to capture a victory by winning the 174, 197, and 285 weight classes to close out the dual by the score of 35-23.

- Concordia Wisconsin will be back in action tomorrow at the CUW Open and the Falcons next dual meet will be on December 6th when they face Lakeland inside the R. John Buuck Field House.
