UW-La Crosse tips Women’s Tennis

MADISON, Wis. – The CUW women's tennis program came up short on Friday night against Wisconsin-La Crosse.

The Eagles extended their winning streak to eight matches with a 9-0 victory, to improve to 15-4.

CUW moves to 12-7 on the season.

Senior Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) and freshman Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) put up a battle at No. 2 doubles, but came up short at 4-8.

At No. 6 singles, freshman Elizabeth Johnson (Hubertus, Wis.) fought until the very end, falling in the second set, 5-7.

The Falcons look to rebound on Sunday against St. Norbert.
