MEQUON, Wis. – Samantha Stark has been promoted to Associate Head Coach of the CUW Track & Field program.
"I am excited for Coach Stark to run the day to day operations of the track & field program," said head coach Russ De Lap, "I know her expertise in track & field will only enhance the overall quality of our program. This is a great opportunity for Coach Stark to continue her growth as a track & field coach."
Stark has served as the assistant coach over the past 10 seasons. She began her coaching career in 2010 as a part-time throws coach, transitioned to sprints, high jump, javelin and multi-event athletes through 2013. Coach Stark currently specializes in sprints, relays and multi-events.
"I am blessed," said Stark. "I am thankful to be recognized for this position and the passion I have to continue to develop and drive our team to success."
Since joining the Falcons as an assistant coach, CUW has continued its run as one of the top teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Stark does extensive work with the relay teams, who have set several school records over the past few seasons.
