Dominican, (6-0-0 in the NAC) and one of the Nation's Top D3
soccer powers, was "totally dominating early in the contest" in
handing CUW (5-1-0) a 3-0 defeat Saturday. "As a really young team
we kind of folded under the pressure over the first thirty
minutes...a hostile environment against great talent, said Coach
Tom Saleska. "I was proud of how we played after halftime but that
was too little too late."
In a game oddity, Falcon goalie Tom Anderson did not have a
single save but the Stars first half passing was so precise that
all three scores were indefensiible.
The Falcons (9-3-2) host Maranatha on Tuesday at 4pm. "You just
can't make even little mistakes against Dominican. They are too
good. I'm hoping we can carry the second half performance with us
and keep getting better."
