A must-win weekend turned out to be just that for the Falcon volleyball squad. Fresh off a three set sweep of the hosting Concordia-Chicago Cougars one night earlier, the Falcons returned home to knock off the previously undefeated Aurora Spartans in four games.

CUW came from behind to win game one and then prevailed 25-19 in game two. After Aurora came back for a 25-20 game three decision, the Falcons used some new-found energy to crush the visitors 25-9 in the finale.

With the victory, the Falcons improved to 13-5 overall and 4-2 in the conference. Aurora dropped to 3-1 in league play. On Tuesday the defending back-to-back conference champion Lakeland College Muskies visit the John Buuck Fieldhouse, bringing with them an undefeated conference record of 5-0. Set one begins at 7pm.
