Milwaukee
Nobody said it would be a rink of roses this season, but Tony
Hrkac had hoped that his young team would be better defensively
than they have shown in the early going. Last evening's
9-1 decision at the hands of MSOE was the second straight
one-side loss suffered by the Falcons.
The first period ended just 1-0 but the Raiders dominated action
from that point on, outshooting CUW by a 55-17 margin.
It was 4-0 before Concordia's Bradley Lukasz turned on the red
light with seven minutes left in the middle period. The excitement
did not last long, however, as MSOE got the Kern Center crowd on
their feet with two more goals before the period ended. The
Falcons (0-2) host MSOE in an Ozaukee Ice Center rematch tonight at
7:30pm.
