Visiting Lake Forest took a 1-0 lead on Erica May's tally just
five minutes into the second half, but it only served to wake up
the Falcon offense and initiate a 3 goal barrage that turned the
match around for CUW.
Here's how things unfolded:
Emily Waldorf got Concordia back into a tie when she converted a
Lauren Straehler assist at 59:14. Then CUW's Kelli Wittenberg gave
Ryan Middendorf's booters their first lead when she scored
unassisted at 74:22. Finally, Becky Ott and Morgan Rood combined
for what proved to be the game winner at just two minutes
later.
Lakel Forest (6-5-0) got their second goal in the closing
seconds of the match but Concordia improved to 8-3-2 with this cold
and windy non conference win.
