Samantha Meuwissen scored twice and four of her CUW teammates added single tallies as the Falcon skaters improved to 2-0 with a 6-2 non-conference win over host Buffalo State on Sunday.

Concordia controlled play throughout but the first period ended in a scoreless draw in spite of CUW's 10-0 shot margin.

Sarah Cole finally got the fast-skating Falcons on the board in period number two and after a tying Buffalo score, Meuwissen, Sarah Luberda and Jaime Athens all turned on the light before the period ended.

Buffal State got one goal back early in the final period before April Forar put the game out of reach. Meuwissen added an empty net score in the final minutes as Concordia completed the road sweep.
