Dominican has lost only one match all season and went undefeated
in the NAC. The Nationally-Ranked Stars (14-1-3) will get a bid to
the NCAA Tournament whether they win the NAC tournament or not, but
they appear intent on winning it anyway.
Three goals in the first thirty minutes sealed the deal as the
hosts ended an otherwise impressive Falcon season at 12-4-5- with
two of the four losses coming against Dominican.
"One of their goals was a great goal, but the other two were
more about what we failed to do than what they accomplished
offensively. This was not one of our better performances because we
did not step up to meet the challenge of competing against a really
outstanding team," was the frank assessment of CUW head coach Tom
Saleska.
