Host Aurora (3-6) sprinted to a 22 point cushion via a monster 62 point first half offensive
display, and then coasted to a 101- 86 win over CUW (5-5) this
afternoon.
The Spartans shot 61% during the initial twenty minutes but "cooled
off" to 51% for the game. Twelve Falcons scored, led by Kyle
Barth's 18 point effort, but none of those dozen could defend
Aurora scoring leaders Ari Iventosch (30), Shane Roland (24) or
swing man Lance Robinson who scored 17 points, snared 13
boards, and dished out 11 assists for the winners.
Justin Simmons scored 8 points off the bench for Concordia in
his most extensive action of the season.
Both teams are now 2-2 in the NAC.
