Aurora 84 Concordia 73
Aurora, IL
CUW, 10-6 in the NAC, fell to 13-12 overall after a road loss to
Aurora in the NAC "division crossover game" Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons trailed 43-36 at the break and could not get over the
hump against the hot-shooting Spartans who avenged an early- season
loss in Mequon.
Skip Newton- Kemp led Concordia with 29 points and reserve Krei
Meier was outstanding off the bench with 15, but Aurora guard Chad
Trudo just killed the Falcons- nailing 6 of 7 from beyond the arc
on his way to a 26 point effort.
Aurora, also 13-12 on the season, had four starters in double
figures. Shawn Cassidy's cagers suffered from an uncharacteristic
22 turnovers and were unable to manufacture any inside scoring
against the Spartans.
