Benedictine squeaks past Falcons

Lisle, IL

Host Benedictine defeated CUW in five games last evening in Lisle, Illinois.

Despite the defeat, the Falcons were led by Katie Roessler's 15 kills, while Stephanie Boehm added 10. Tasha Strey and Joanna Kirk added 15 and 14 assists respectively, while Lydia Meaden came away with 15 digs.

Concordia lost the first set 25-21, before storming back to take sets two and three. Benedictine rallied to win the fourth set 25-21, before taking the decisive fifth set 15-12.

The Falcons return to action this weekend in Beloit, for a multi-team tournament.
