The host Titans got the game-winner on a penalty kick after a
handball was called in the penalty box late in the second half of
Monday evening's match, dropping CUW to 4-2-2 on the season and
ending Concordia's 4 match win streak.
UW-O, undefeated on the season at 6-0-1, got a goal from Fedja
Korjenic just twenty minutes into the mach and held that lead until
CUW's Trevor Hess tied the game early in the second half off a Zach
Lemler assist.
"They are really good," said Falcon coach Tom Saleska. "I
thought we played well and pretty even under the circumstances
against a very skilled passing team. They actually returned
starters from last season who don't see the field anymore…
just a talented group...and we stayed with them for the most
part." The Falcons host North central on Thursday at 4:30pm.
