Concordia skaters appeared to have an extra gear as they got to
every loose puck and dominated from beginning to end this afternoon
during a 5-0 win over Finlandia.
Jim Ingman's team, in their third year of existence, scored
their first-ever shutout win and exceeded their record for most
wins in a season with seven.
It was 1-0 Falcons after the first session on an Alyssa Isaackson tally.
CUW's "A Train" poured it
on with two goals in the second (Alisha Java and April Forar) ) and another pair in the
final period. Alexandra
Barton scored the first of those before Sarah Luberda ended the
alphabet domination and the afternoon's scoring.
The Falcons moved closer to the .500 mark at 7-8-2 overall.
