Trailing 9-4 five minutes into the contest, Concordia went on a
28- 3 run to build an insurmountable 32-12 halftime lead on the way
to a 63-41 win over Maranatha this evening in the Buuck
Fieldhouse.
The visiting Crusaders turned the ball over 32 times in this
ragged contest with 20 of those errors coming in the final 14
minutes of the first half.
Kendall Kerns, the recipient of half a dozen quality assists,
led CUW with a 20 point performance. Meghan Matthies added 10
and ten other Falcon players got into the scoring column.
Stacey Brunner's team improved to 9-1 in the league while
dropping the Crusaders to 1-8 in NAC play. Feisty Autumn Peotter
led the visitors with 14 points on 7of12 shooting from the
floor.
