Concordia (8-1) had no trouble disposing of Silver Lake College
86-61 in a non-conference road test last evening.
Luke Doedens led the way for CUW with a 22 point performance,
while Mitchell Schneider added 18, and post player Steve Zielinski
came off the bench to score 13.
Shawn Cassidy's cagers jumped ahead 11-1, led 38-22 at the half,
and were never challenged by the hosts who fell to 5-8 on the
season.
"We came out with a high level of intensity," said Cassidy. "We
shared the ball and Zielinski had his best performance."
The Falcons shot 52% for the game, led by Doeden's 9-11
marksmanship.
