Concordia's suffocating defense forced twenty turnovers and CUW
shooters finally found their touch as the Falcons torched the
Benedictine Eagles 69-40 in the Buuck Fieldhouse this
afternoon.
It was 36-18 by halftime and the lead grew to as much 57-30 in
the game's later stages. Tiffany Hendrickson led the way
offensively with 21 points and Katie Luethe had 10 points along
with 12 rebounds. Becky Gifford and Emily Wesley added 9 points
each.
The most telling stat was Concordia's 51-37 rebound
advantage.
Concordia improved to 2-2 in the NAC while dropping BU to 1-1 in
the league and 3-2 overall.
