Concordia's volleyball squad finished 2-2 at the Illinois
Wesleyan tournament over the weekend.
Joe Cawley's team dropped a 4 game match to Cornell on Day 1.
CUW own the opener 25-21 but could not maintain that early
momentum, falling 25-20, 25-19, and 25-18.
Lydia Meaden, who was outstanding all weekend, led Concordia
with 11 kills and 27 digs.
On the same day, the Falcons swept Illinois College 25-21,
25-17, and 25-21. Meaden had 10 kills in that match.
CUW also dropped 3 straight to the hosts; a talented Illinois
Wesleyan team.
CUW's best effort may have come against Beloit with Concordia
coming back from a 25-21 game one defeat to win 3 straight
thrillers including a 27-25 game 4 decision.
Meaden (12), Stephanie Boehm (11), and Brittany Deinlein(10)
combined for 33 kils in that contest.
