On paper it looked like a good chance for a victory, but on the
ice it was all Lake Forest as the visitors (3-11-0) handed
Concordia a 6-1 defeat at the Ozaukee Ice Center last evening.
The visiting Foresters led 3-0 by the end of the first period,
outshooting CUW 14-7 in that session, and then doubled their
cushion in the second period in spite of being outshot 13-9.
CUW's only score was the game's final tally. Jonathon Smith got
the goal on assists from Jari Sanders and Mark Henke to make for a
6-1 final. Winning goalie Brendan Sullivan was credited with 31
saves.
Tony Hrkac' team fell to 1-14-0 on the season.
