Falcon women get past Maranatha 62-44

The outcome was predictable but Maranatha (winless in the NAC) made Concordia (10-2) work for every point in 62-44 conference road win.

CUW pulled ahead 36-22 at the break and coasted home behind balanced scoring.

Katie Luethe (16), Becky Gifford (15), and Brittney Toles (12) led the way offensively for Coach Brunner-Jones squad.

Concordia won the rebound battle 42-32 with Luethe and Megan Bernadoni grabbing 8 each.

The first place Falcons host Rockford on saturday at 2:00pm.
