Lake Forest women shut out Falcon skaters

Concordia's win streak came to a halt last night as Lake Forest's Alyssa Wintermute "muted" the Falcon offense with 25 saves.

The visitors scored once in each of the first two periods and then ended any hopes of a CUW comeback with a pair of 3rd period tallies.

Jim Ingman's team fell to 9-8-1 overall despite outshooting the Foresters 25-24.

The Falcons, now 7-5-1 in conference, play at Lake Forest in a road rematch at 4pm today.
