Kenosha, Wis. --
CUW (4-4-0) dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at Carthage (3-4) last
evening in a men's non-conference soccer matchup.
Concordia fell behind 1-0 only 18
minutes into the match when Greg Pignataro scored his first goal of
the season unassisted for the home side.
The Falcons eventually got the
equalizer from Zach Lemler ten minutes into the second half off a
pass from James Kroll.
Unfortunately Mike Dombrowski headed
home the game winner for Carthage just five minutes into the first
overtime.
Tom Saleska's team managed only 6
shots in this defensive-minded battle while the Red Men had 11
attempts. Goalie Dan Boklewski had 5 saves for CUW.
Concordia will travel to Rockford
for a conference matchup on Wednesday at 3:30pm.
