Concordia University Wisconsin's volleyball team dropped a pair
of hard fought five-set matches Saturday to conclude the Concordia
Invitational Tournament with an 0-3 record.
"We played hard today," Head Coach Joe Cawley said. "We made
some youthful mistakes but also saw flashes of brillance."
Concordia- Austin had smacked CUW in three straight games on
Friday but Concordia- Ann Arbor and Concordia- Chicago both had to
work hard to pull out 5 game wins over Cawley's young squad.
Amanda Wilke led the Falcon attack against rival CU-Chicago with
11 kills while Lauren Gonring had 13 digs. Freshman Gabrielle Van
Beaver had 7 blocks.
