Volleyball nearly pulls out pair of wins at Linda Slagell Classic

DECATUR, Ill. – It has been the story of this year's Concordia University Wisconsin volleyball team, as the Falcons push their opponents to the brink but are unable to find a way to pull out a victory. The same happened on Friday at the Linda Slagell Classic as they were swept 3-0 (21-25, 19-25, 23-25) by Wisconsin Lutheran College and 3-0 (21-25, 26-28, 20-25) against Illinois Wesleyan University.

Complete statistics were not available, but will be released as soon as they are obtained.

CUW concludes the tournament with an 11 a.m. match against host Milikin University prior to playing Benedictine University at 1 p.m.
