MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season title with a 9-0 shutout against MSOE on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons blanked the Raiders to claim the NACC regular season title finishing conference play with a perfect 10-0 record.
- During doubles play, CUW's No. 1 and No. 3 doubles easily won their matches 8-1 giving CUW the momentum heading into the singles matches.
- Sophomore Hannah Tresedder (Kingsford, Mich.) and junior Michaela Wagner (Oswego, Ill.) also defeated their No. 2 doubles competitors by a score of 8-6.
- During singles play, the Falcons gave never gave up more than four games in any of the sets. Junior Alisia Machioch (South St. Paul, Minn.) and freshman Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) each gave up only two games while winning 6-2, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1, respectively, at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
- Wagner and Machioch each blanked their opponent in the second set of their matches.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- With the win, CUW won the NACC regular season title for the first time since the 2011 season. It is the first time won the title outright since the 2007-08 season.
- Kelly, Tresedder and Macioch finished the regular season undefeated in singles during league play.
- This is the fifth time this season CUW has blanked their opponent.
- The Falcons will have a first round bye for the NACC tournament in May after winning the regular season title.
