HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Falcons got on the board 7:48 into the game when junior Brittany Sticha (Lonsdale, Minn.) scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season. Sticha's score was assisted by senior Chelsea Regan (Oakdale, Minn.).

- CUW would build its lead to 2-0 just 1:15 into the second period when Regan netted a power play score. It marked the sixth straight game the Falcons have scored on the power play. The Regan score was assisted by sophomore Lexi Holman (Sauk Rapids, Minn.).

- St. Norbert would begin the comeback midway through the second period as Myranda Hayes scored 9:41 into the frame.

- The Green Knights would then add two goals in the third for the 3-2 win. The game-winning score came with 12:42 remaining in regulation, coming off the stick of Jillian Kosteck. Kosteck had both third period goals for St. Norbert.

- Sophomore Allison Kurek (Chicago, Ill.) finished with 29 saves for the Falcons. Kurek made 16 of those stops in the second period as CUW was outshot 32-18 for the game.

- Leigh Grall got the win for St. Norbert, her fourth of the season, by making 16 saves.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

- The game was part of Pink the Rink for CUW as the Falcons wore pink jerseys and helped in the fight against cancer. A Chuck-a-Puck, along with scarves and beanies being sold, all helped CUW raise money for Angel on my Shoulder, an organization that helps both those who suffer from cancer, and the families who suffer with them.

UP NEXT

- The Falcons will visit St. Benedict next weekend for a pair of non-conference road games. The first of those matchups is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
