Falcons fly past Cardinals

KENOSHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin dominated the majority of the non-conference match on Friday evening, which resulted in a 7-2 victory over North Central at the Kenosha East Side Tennis and Fitness Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons took two of the three doubles matches early on take a 2-1 lead over the Cardinals. The duos of junior Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) and sophomore Rebekah Spiegelhoff (Mount Pleasant, Wis.), along with sophomore Emma Sievers (Slinger, Wis.) and senior Sabine Jacobsen (Palatine, Ill.) each combined for 8-3 wins.
- Singles play was highlighted by a Jacobsen 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles, while Sievers had a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.
- Kelly had a 6-4, 6-3 decision in her favor at the No. 2 position and senior Hannah Tresedder (Kingsford, Mich.) recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles. Spiegelhoff had a difficult time, but pulled out an important 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-3) match at No. 6 singles.
