Field Hockey shut out by Christopher Newport

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Field Hockey Team was shut out 8-0 by Christopher Newport University on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 -The Captains jumped ahead in the first half, scoring all eight goals in the match. Bailey Miller and Kennedy Johnson each had two goals for the Captains. Kristen Zeigler, Courtney Fiest, Ariana Samuel, and Sarah Coon each scored to account for the remaining Captain goals in the opening frame.
-Kelsey Fulton led the Falcons with three shots, all of them on goal.
-The Captains took 28 shots to the Falcons seven.
