PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The CUW men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match at Wisconsin-Platteville on Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers won 2-0 to send the Falcons to 5-6-1 on the season.
The Pioneers took the lead with two goals in the first half.
The Falcons attacked the UWP net with four shots but were unable to convert. Senior Spencer Standarski (Waukesha, Wis.), senior Tyler Salvador (Lindenhurst, Ill.), junior Joshua Shull (Evansville, Ind.) and senior Jacob Stemper (Hartland, Wis.) all recorded a shot.
Junior Mattson Wick (New Berlin, Wis.) finished with eight saves against the Pioneers.
CUW looks to bounce back on Wednesday at Marian in a NACC match.
