ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The CUW ACHA men's hockey team won its second-straight victory with a 5-3 win over Lewis on Friday night.
Sophomore Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) started the scoring off a pass from sophomore Connor Doyle (Naples, Fla.).
Lewis took back the lead with a pair of goals to start the second period.
Freshman EJ Halleck (Cape Coral, Fla.) tied the game off assists to senior Wyatt Wilderman (Bear Dance, Mont.) and Sherman.
Freshman John Swiatek (Rochester, N.Y.) gave the Falcons the lead late in the second period with an assist to sophomore Easton Williams (Racine, Wis.).
Lewis tied the game up early in the third period.
Senior Cody Faber (Wilmot, Wis.) saved the day with a late goal from sophomore Scott Gregor (Ashland, Wis.) and Swiatek.
Faber iced the game with a second goal with 10.8 left in the game.
Senior Dakota Delbridge (Tracey, Calif.) had 43 saves in the victory.
The Falcons return home on Saturday to face Marian.
