MILWAUKEE – The CUW men's basketball team picked up a key NACC North Division with an 81-57 victory at MSOE. The Falcons improve to 5-4 in the North Division and to 6-4 overall.

"We are all excited to see Jordan break the scoring record," said head coach Shawn Cassidy. " Our bench gave us a great lift tonight. They brought great energy and played outstanding defense."

Senior Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.) hit a jump shot four minutes into the game to become the all-time leading scorer in program history on Friday night. He surpassed Eric Kittel at 1541 points. Johnson also broke the record in 92 games. It took Kittle 109 games and Newton-Kemp 101 games to score 1293.

Both teams fought back-and-forth in the first half and neither team was able to get a lead greater than four points.

Trailing 37-40, the Falcons went on an 18-4 run to help break the game open.

The Falcons held a 47-21 scoring advantage in the second half to secure the victory.

Junior Brandon Keller (Plymouth, Wis.) led the flock with 12 points, while senior Joey Zietlow (Oak Creek, Wis.) and Jordan Johnson added 10.

In total, 12 Falcons scored in the victory.

The Falcons look to sweep the Raiders on Saturday evening.
