MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's basketball team fell by a score of 69-63 on Friday to MSOE on Friday night.
The Raiders outscored the Falcons 18-12 in the first two quarters to take a 36-24 lead into halftime.
The Falcons rallied back with a 23-13 advantage in the third quarter. Senior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) had 10 points in the third quarter.
Junior Camryn Szolyga (Waukesha, Wis.) tied the game with 7:03 left on a layup at 51-51, but the Raiders held onto the lead the rest of the way.
Clara Chambers finished with a game-high 17 points, while Camryn Szolyga had 15 points and senior Hannah Boettcher finished with 14 points.
The winner of Saturday's game secures a spot in the NACC Tournament. Both CUW and MSOE are at 5-4 and Lakeland is still alive at 4-5.
