KENOSHA, Wis. – The CUW women's lacrosse team fell to 0-2 on the young season with a 24-4 loss at Carthage on Saturday.

Senior Hannah Beyer put the Falcons on the scoreboard first off a pass from Savannah Schweiger.

The Firebirds responded with five-straight goals.

Olivia Niego found the back of the net to cut into the Carthage lead.

Kat Oryszczyn scored with 10 minutes left in the first half.

The Firebirds went into halftime with a 16-3 lead.

Kat Oryszczyn recorded the lone Concordia goal in the second half.

Carthage held a 39-17 shots advantage on Saturday.

Mallory Gurin had nine saves in the loss.
