ELMHURST, Ill. – The losing skid continued for the CUW men's lacrosse program on Wednesday night. The Falcons fell to 2-3 on the year after a 16-12 loss at Elmhurst.

The Falcons held a 4-3 lead after the first quarter. The Falcons scored goals from Donovan Harper, John Cole, senior Keijo Day and Caleb Ruger.

The Bluejays retook the lead into halftime at 8-7. Keijo Day, Taitum Priewe and Connor Peterson found the back of the net in the second quarter.

Elmhurst pushed the lead up to 12-7 with a 4-0 run to start the second half. The Falcons closed the quarter with goals from Taitum Priewe, Donovan Harper and Keijo Day.

Taitum Priewe scored the final goal of the day with 57 seconds left in the game off a pass from Ryan Lefebvre.

Elmhurst outshot the Falcons on Wednesday, 57-38.

Senior Alex Loding picked up eight saves in the loss.
