Women's Golf improves 29 strokes on Tuesday

SILVIS, Ill. – The CUW women's golf team improved 29 strokes on Tuesday to improve to 11th place at the TPC Deere Run Invitational. The Falcons finished the two-day tournament with 833 strokes. Bellevue won the competition with 686 stokes.

Senior Amy Carpenter was the highest finisher for the Falcons in 41st place at 198 strokes. She lowered her score by 12 strokes on Tuesday.

Freshman Rebecca Curley and junior Payton Dorn finished tied for 51st place at 208 strokes.

Freshman Anna Rousseau lowered her score by 15 strokes on Tuesday with 219 strokes in the competition in 63rd place.

In 73rd place was sophomore Hanah Conger at 296 strokes.

The Falcons will compete again on April 2 at Carthage.
