Women's Golf reels in a seventh-place finish at Marian

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team posted its lowest round of the month with a seventh-place finish at the Marian Invitational on Saturday at 410 strokes. Wisconsin-Oshkosh led the tournament at 359 strokes.

Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) had a top-10 finish in eighth place at 90 strokes.

Freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) finished in 24th place at 105 strokes on Saturday.

Freshman Anna Rousseau (Hartford, Wis.) rounded up a score of 107 strokes.

Junior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) had 108 strokes in 29th place.

Freshman Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a 37th-place finish at 122 strokes.

Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) finished in 39th place at 148 strokes.

The Falcons will fly over to Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday.
