RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The CUW women's lacrosse team dropped its first NACC contest of the year on Saturday at Concordia Chicago.

Junior Kat Oryszczyn (Mukwonago, Wis.) scored the lone CUW goal in the first half.

Oryszczyn scored on a free position shot in the second half.

Senior Mallory Gurin (Westfield, Ind.) had seven saves against the Cougars.

Kat Oryszczyn also led CUW with four ground balls.

Freshman Olivia Niego (La Grange, Ill.) and senior Hannah Beyer (Wayside, Wis.) had three shots.

CUW looks to rebound on Sunday at Augustana.
