MANDAN, N.D. – The CUW ACHA men's hockey team opened the ACHA Division II National Tournament on Thursday afternoon against the fourth-ranked Flames of Liberty. No. 4 Liberty walked away with a 2-0 victory to open pool play.

Liberty opened the game with two goals in the first period, including a power-play goal.

The Falcons were able to throw 23 shots onto the Liberty net.

Senior Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) finished the game with 33 saves.

CUW will take on No. 5 Florida Gulf Coast on Friday.
