Women's Golf jumps Marian at Whitewater

JANESVILLE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team jumped up one spot at the Wisconsin Whitewater Spring Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons finished in 12th place at 806 strokes.

Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) was the highest finisher for the Falcons in 49th place at 187 strokes with a round of 95 strokes.

Freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) had the best Saturday round for CUW at 91 strokes in 52nd place at 190 strokes.

Junior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) hit 109 strokes on Saturday to finish in 65th place at 212 strokes.

Freshman Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) lowered her score by five strokes on Saturday in 66th place at 217 strokes.

Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) finished in 72nd place with 254 strokes, after a round of 132 strokes on Saturday.

CUW will compete at Carroll on Sunday.
