MILWAUKEE – The Falcons are advancing to the NACC Tournament Semifinals for the first time in program history. CUW upset the No. 3 seed Raiders of MSOE on Tuesday night, 25-23, 17-25, 25-16, 19-25, 16-14. The victory sends the Falcons to 6-7 on the year.
"This is something that we have seen coming all year," said head coach Curtis Madson. "We knew that we were going to finally break through in one of these matches and we are excited that we did so tonight. This is also a great win for our seniors, it shows them how far that we have come over these past four years and it is something to take pride in. We are thankful that we get to continue to play together as a team and compete again in the semifinals."
The Blue and White came out swinging on Tuesday night and hit .409 in the first set.
